The Glendale Police Foundation (GPE) is a non-profit 501(c) Corporation whose mission is to: organization created to support the Glendale Police Department.  We are an independent resource that provides funding to:

  • Support Glendale Police operations and promote public safety.
  • Strengthen community/police partnerships.
  • Encourage police department innovations.
  • Promote officer safety.
  • Recognize and honor heroism, valor and outstanding achievements by Officers of the Glendale Police Department.

The Foundation was founded in 1967 and has actively supported numerous educational, community and police activities.  These include the purchase, training and support of Glendale K-9 dogs; an annual 10 week Citizens’ Police Academy educating community members about local police policy and programs; and supporting Glendale Police in regional and state-wide law enforcement competitions.

Glendale Sunrise Rotary is a community based service club which meets weekly on Friday mornings.  We look for projects that help individuals/groups pertaining to literacy, health, welfare and community involvement.
