DESCRIPTION:The Glendale Chamber of Commerce is delighted to invite you to the premiere event of the year – A Roaring 20’s Grand Gala – our 2016 Installation Gala to be held on Saturday\, June 18\, at the beautifully restored and iconic Grand Central Air Terminal\, which in the 1920’s and 30’s was Los Angeles’ premier airport where notable aviators Howard Hughes\, Amelia Earhart and Charles Lindbergh\, among others\, took off and landed. The Terminal was part of the glamor of Hollywood and movie stars of the day such as Shirley Temple\, Douglas Fairbanks\, and Jayne Wyman starred in and filmed movies in the Grand Hall where we will hold our celebratory event. \nThe Walt Disney Company is the title sponsor of this elegant affair\, so you know it will be a night to remember. Awaiting you is a moonlit night accented with magnificent art deco design of the Grand Hall\, delectable cuisine\, dancing to a live band “The New Old Fashioneds”\, and a spectacular silent auction. Plus\, we will unveil the Chamber’s 2016-17 Officers and Directors\, led by Incoming Chair of the Board\, Kathy McClure. With all of this excitement awaiting\, you will not want to miss this event!
