The Chamber offers a number of networking opportunities where members, prospective members and guests get together, get acquainted and get going on making new and continuing business contacts.

After-Hours Business Mixers

Hosted by a member business on the third Wednesday of each month. The time is 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., which is convenient for dropping by following the work day. Mixers offer business and social networking in a casual environment, along with hors d’oeuvres (often from a host restaurant), opportunity prize drawings and a jackpot drawing.

Network AM Breakfasts

Held on the fourth Wednesday of each month (except for special Chamber events), this lively, interactive breakfast often features a guest speaker on a business-related subject, opportunities for member businesses to market their services, educational and fun activities to help participants introduce themselves, get acquainted and make continuing or new business contacts.

Quarterly Luncheon

Initiated in 2011, the luncheon program features a guest speaker on an important aspect of business in Glendale or of general business interest. Time is also allocated for networking among participants.

Combined Chamber Mixer

This is a cooperative event, with Chambers from Glendale, Burbank and Pasadena working together on an after-hours mixer to broaden participants’ geographical contacts across the three cities. The first Combined Chamber Mixer in 2010 attracted several hundred people to The Americana at Brand, and was a major success. The 2011 mixer moves to Pasadena and 2012 to Burbank.

Networking occurs everywhere Chamber members get together... the annual Gala (dinner dance), State of the City luncheon, Business Outlook Breakfast, Business Showcase, to name a few.
